All of our packages are tailor made to suit your requirements, these options are to give you an idea of how the sessions would be structured.
We can work with you to develop a package that is tailored to your needs and budget with competitive rates offered for our delegates.
Travelling expenses may be charged relative to the distance travelled with a further charge for any overnight accommodation. No travel costs will be charged for any bookings within a 30 mile radius of Colwyn Bay.
Larger groups can be catered for, please contact us for further details. Small companies can join together to form larger groups.

Morning session - with coffee break offered by facilitators Introduction to drumming. Learning how to hold and strike the Djembe. Learning a variety of rhythm patterns on the drums and on a variety of African percussion instruments. Learning how to play in an ensemble with different rhythms being played simultaneously. Learning how to perform through listening to rhythmic instructions –‘call and response’. LUNCH – ( Provided by facilitators.) Group sessions – each group to be led by elected leaders from within the group i.e. the delegates who feel comfortable and confident leading. Each group to work on a performance using group input with designated leader directing. Each group to perform for the circle. Final performance to incorporate group work and drumming circle to show all skills learned in the course of the workshop.

Single session including coffee break- refreshments provided by facilitators Introduction to the drumming circle and to the Djembe. Learning how to hold and strike the Djembe. Learning different rhythmic patterns on the Djembe and on a variety of African percussion instruments. Learning how to play in an ensemble with different rhythms being played simultaneously. Understanding how to create a performance. Having a go! Final performance. Free expression – where delegates may use their new skills choosing their own patterns during the performance.

If you wish to discuss a different type of drumming experience please contact us to discuss your requirements further. This may include ice-breaker type packages. All our workshop sessions can be customised according to your needs. The drumming workshops can either last for 1-2 hours or be a whole day with a built-in performance at the end. We can offer evening ice-breaks or seasonal/celebratory sessions.
